Services
Online therapy services for men, couples and premarital work.
Everything happens online, in 50-minute sessions, for clients who are physically in New Jersey or New York. There is no office to drive to and no waiting room to sit in.
Four ways in. Take the one that fits.
Services in detail
-
Individual therapy for men
Who it's for: men who are functioning but stuck. Work that will not switch off, anger that arrives too fast, a relationship that feels like logistics, or something private you have never said out loud.

Couples therapy
Who it's for: couples in the same loop. Repeated arguments, growing distance, an affair to recover from, in-laws, or the feeling that you are living alongside each other rather than with each other.

Premarital counseling
Who it's for: engaged and newly married couples who would rather have the money, family, sex and expectation conversations now than discover the answers later under pressure.

Single-session consultation
Who it's for: anyone facing one specific decision who wants an hour with someone outside their life. A job to take or leave, a conversation to have, a boundary to set. One session, and it can stay one session.
Not sure which of these fits? That is exactly what the free 30-minute call is for. Schedule a consultation, or read the articles and the free self-check for men first if you would rather start quietly.
Format
What is the same across all of them.
Whatever brings you in, the practical shape of the work does not change.
Online, and only online
Every session happens by secure video through a HIPAA-compliant SimplePractice portal. You need a quiet room and a reasonable connection. You do not need to live near me, and I do not have an office you could visit.
Because of where I am licensed, you have to be physically in New Jersey or New York when we meet. That is a legal requirement, not a preference.
Fifty minutes, weekly to start
Sessions run 50 minutes. Most people start weekly, then move to every other week, then to occasional check-ins as things settle. Nothing is sold as a package and there is no minimum number of sessions.
Weekday daytime and evening times are available. There are no weekend sessions, which is a boundary I keep so I can be present with my own family.
What this is not
This is outpatient therapy for people who are getting through their days, even if it costs them. It is not a crisis service, not a hospital, and not an intensive program. If you are in immediate danger, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911. If you and I would work better apart, I will tell you and help you find the right person.
Start with thirty minutes.
Tell me what is going on in a sentence or two, and we will find a time to talk. No charge, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
